Diabetes Youth Camps
The Center’s Diabetes Youth Camps are held annually for kids and teens living with type 1 diabetes. This program is completely free of charge, made possible by the generosity of our community. Camp offers young people with type 1 diabetes the chance to connect with peers and foster a sense of community and belonging. Campers also receive practical tips on managing their condition.
We host two youth camps each year: one for kids ages 5–11 and one for teens ages 12–17. Each camp follows rigorous standards, policies, and procedures, and is overseen by our team of healthcare professionals—including nurse practitioners and registered dietitians—to ensure a safe, enriching, and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Campers can look forward to fun activities like swimming, arts & crafts, and group games, all tailored to support diabetes management and build lasting connections.
