The first session is a comprehensive assessment of your medical and dietary needs. The following visits will establish nutrition intervention, goals & objectives, a care plan, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation to assist in managing your health condition.
Length of therapy may last several sessions, depending on the condition being treated. The goal of Medical Nutrition Therapy is to have better outcomes reflected on medical lab work and improve overall wellness.

The enrollment process for Medical Nutrition Therapy follows these simple steps:
- Your physician will fax our office with a referral form for MNT.
- Our office will contact you to confirm we’ve received the referral.
- We will verify benefits covered by your insurance.
- Our office will call you back to confirm benefits or offer alternative payment options if your insurance does not cover medical nutritional therapy.
- We’ll schedule your initial session with our registered dietitian or nutritionist.
