diabetes Prevention Programs

The National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is a lifestyle change program for preventing type 2 diabetes among individuals with prediabetes (impaired glucose tolerance). The program teaches participants strategies for incorporating physical activity into daily life and eating healthy. Through a 16-course curriculum, lifestyle coaches help participants identify emotions and situations that can sabotage their success.
