Diabetes Self Management Education
A diabetes diagnosis requires making daily self-management decisions and performing complex care activities. Diabetes self-management education (DSME) provides the foundation to help people with diabetes navigate these decisions. Through an accredited DSME class, a person with diabetes will learn about nutrition, stress management, physical activity, medication adherence, reduction of complications, and more.
