El Paso Giving Day
November 15, 2018
We are local and non-profit—all monies raised here stay here to serve our community. Our goal is to offer the community a better quality of life by raising awareness and educating individuals and families about early detection and diabetes.
El Paso Diabetes Association opened it’s doors in 1968 in Mrs. Goldman’s garage as a support for local children with diabetes. Over the next 50 years, our programs have grown to include diabetes prevention & management classes, support groups for all ages, healthy cooking classes, FACES of Diabetes conference, and more.
Did you know?
86 million adults have pre-diabetes and 90% of them don’t know it.
Every 21 seconds, 1 person is diagnosed with diabetes.
Every 5 minutes, 2 people die from diabetes.
You know a family member, friend and coworker who has diabetes, or is at risk of diabetes. We are here to help! Please refer them to us and support our efforts with your donation today!
Thank You So Much!!
